I hated the original mainly cause of Cee Lo's voice. It was excruciating. However loving Gweneth's voice on this so I can finally like this song now!

Now I understand the reason why they couldn't cover the proper/better version of the song, but it would be much better if they just didn't do it at all. After all, I can't imagine them covering Eamon any time soon, unless the ultimate goal is to cover every song in existance, I think some songs can just be skipped for good.
I retract Forget You to an extent, as it truly does not flow correctly with the different number of syllables and 'forget' is just not a the best substitute word in my opinion. I am also a great retractor of Glee's vocal talents, this is in contrast to Cee-Lo's always excellent vocal abilities. So put simply, I do not like this at all. |
